On October 19th, 2025, two sets of 2320m³ LNG fuel tanks, manufactured by Zhangjiagang Furui CIT, successfully departed from Zhangjiagang Gangxin Port, bound for CdA Shipyard in France. These two sets will be installed on an MSC World-class luxury cruise ship named MSC-Atlantic, providing clean power for this 200,000-ton ship and supporting its green voyages.
In fact, Furui CIT already boasts a rich and outstanding track record in supplying LNG fuel tanks for luxury cruise ships. As early as the beginning of this year, Furui CIT had delivered 2 tanks for the Y34 series of the same vessel. To date, Furui CIT has successfully delivered a total of 8 tanks for 4 ships in this series. The dual-fuel power systems for this series of vessels all employ the Wärtsilä - LNG Pac™ patented design, prioritizing safety and reliability while balancing energy efficiency and economy, providing customers with the most comprehensive LNG fuel management solutions.
It is important to note that the LNG fuel tanks supplied for luxury cruise ships feature highly advanced design concepts and extremely stringent manufacturing standards.
