Recently, FURUI-SIXTEE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD., a wholly owned subsidiary of the FURUI GROUP, successfully won the bid for the natural gas liquefaction project of Brazil’s ENEVA S.A. On April 18, 2025, both parties signed the supply contract for the first liquefaction unit with a capacity of 300,000 Nm³/day. Subsequent contracts will be signed in line with the overall project schedule. On July 9 (local time in Brazil), the two parties held an official signing ceremony.
ENEVA S.A. is the largest private natural gas and power operator in Brazil. Its business scope covers the exploration and production of oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as the commercialization of electricity. As a publicly listed company, ENEVA has a total market capitalization of approximately USD 4.5 billion.
Zhangjiagang Furui Special Equipment Co., Ltd. (“FURUI GROUP”) is a leading Chinese enterprise in LNG full-industry-chain equipment manufacturing and energy services. The company is actively expanding into international markets, offering one-stop integrated LNG solutions to global clients. For the Parnaíba Integrated Facility, Furui Group will provide advanced natural gas liquefaction systems, including a 620,000 Nm³/day gas pre-treatment system, a 300,000 Nm³/day liquefaction unit, heavy hydrocarbon storage, as well as LNG storage and truck loading systems. All equipment will be delivered in a modular format. This cooperation will support the production of cleaner and more economical fuel in Brazil, serving both industrial and transportation markets. By replacing diesel and LPG, the project contributes to decarbonization efforts and creates long-term value for the client.
