LNG cryogenic valves are engineered with innovative design solutions to meet the demanding requirements of cryogenic applications. These valves are designed to handle a wide range of pressures and sizes, with specifications such as PN 300LB for DN 8", PN 600LB for DN 3", and PN 1500LB for DN 1-1/2". Their connection types, including RF (Raised Face), SW (Socket Weld), and BW (Butt Weld), offer flexibility for various installation needs.

 

A key innovation in these valves is the use of PCTFE (Polychlorotrifluoroethylene) valve seats. PCTFE is known for its excellent low-temperature stability, ensuring reliable sealing even in the most extreme cryogenic conditions. This material choice significantly enhances the valve's performance and longevity, making it ideal for LNG, O2, N2, and Ar applications.

 

The valve stem seal is another area where advanced design comes into play. The use of low-leakage packing ensures that the valve meets stringent low-leakage requirements, which is critical for maintaining safety and efficiency in cryogenic systems. Additionally, the disc spring pre-tightening structure for the valve stem packing provides consistent sealing force, reducing the risk of leaks over time.

 

To further enhance safety, the middle cavity pressure fastener is constructed using high-strength grade 2 studs. These studs allow for precise control of the gasket's pre-tightening force, ensuring a secure and reliable seal. Combined with the 100% radiographic inspection of all pressure-bearing welds, these design features make LNG cryogenic valves a trusted choice for critical cryogenic applications.
