Furui Group Hydrogen Energy Test and Testing Center is located in Furui Valve Guotai Road Factory, covering an area of 2,100 square meters. The center is mainly divided into two test areas, hydrogen-related and non-hydrogen-related. The center adopts the construction plan of independent design of key equipment and independent integration of the overall process, and has independent intellectual property rights. After completion, the center business mainly includes: fuel cell key components test, fuel cell vehicle hydrogen supply system test, fuel cell component durability test, fuel cell HiL test, low temperature cryogenic component test, environmental test, vibration test, EMC test, etc. .
While deeply cultivating the whole LNG industry chain, Furui Group is developing more hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry chain related products. In addition to the current mass-produced high-pressure on-board hydrogen valve, the company is actively developing core components such as the liquid hydrogen hydrogen supply system and humidification circuit for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, and is also developing key equipment and components for the liquid hydrogen industry chain.
Based on the needs of Furui Group business development and product research and development, the company decided to invest in the construction of a hydrogen energy test and testing center. The foundation stone was laid in June 2021, and the hydrogen energy test and testing center is scheduled to be put into operation in 2023.

Hydrogen Liquefaction Plant
Liquid hydrogen is a liquefied gas obtained by cooling hydrogen to -253°C and throttling after precooling and multiple adiabatic expansion. Since the density of liquid hydrogen is 800 times that of hydrogen, compared with other transportation methods, liquid hydrogen has the characteristics of high storage and transportation density, high transportation efficiency and suitability for long-distance transportation, making it one of the high-quality hydrogen storage and transportation methods. The hydrogen liquefaction unit is mainly composed of a turboexpander, a heat exchanger, a compressor and a normal and parahydrogen converter. Large-scale hydrogen liquefaction plants mainly adopt the technical route of liquid nitrogen precooling and hydrogen turbo-expander unit, while small-scale hydrogen liquefaction equipment mostly adopts the technical route of helium turbo-expander refrigeration and JT throttle valve liquefaction.

Liquid hydrogen discharge arm
The LH2 loading and unloading arm system is a special equipment installed on the wharf and used to transfer the medium between the wharf and the liquid hydrogen ship. All parts in direct contact with the medium, such as the main pipes of the loading and unloading arms, rotary joints, etc., are completely vacuum-isolated from the environment to avoid the production of liquefied oxygen and minimize the loss of heat. The design of the quick connector has considered the insulation treatment and can be directly connected to the flange of the ship's manifold. The specially designed ERS ball valve will not generate liquid oxygen in the exposed environment even if it is disengaged in an emergency.
Liquid hydrogen loading and unloading skid
Like the LNG loading and unloading skid, the LH2 loading and unloading skid must also meet the requirements for use in low temperature environments. However, because liquid hydrogen requires a lower operating temperature (boiling point -253°C), its design requirements are more stringent. For example, since the boiling point of liquid hydrogen is much lower than that of liquid nitrogen (-196°C) and liquid oxygen (-183°C), if the pipe surface is directly exposed to air, nitrogen and oxygen will liquefy and gradually pool into droplets, eventually drip and cause an accident. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a jacket structure design to ensure that the above situation is prevented.
Liquid hydrogen tank
The liquid hydrogen tank can realize long-distance transportation of hydrogen energy. Compared with the high-pressure hydrogen transportation scheme, it has the advantages of safer, more efficient and lower freight. The inner container system of the liquid hydrogen tank is made of special steel for liquid hydrogen and is welded by a special welding process to ensure the long-term operation stability and arrangement of the pressure components at -253 °C; the sandwich system adopts a special high-efficiency thermal insulation design to realize the liquid hydrogen tank. No hydrogen emissions during long-distance transportation.

The liquid hydrogen tank can realize the safe storage of liquid hydrogen in the ship power system using hydrogen as fuel. The liquid hydrogen tank adopts a special and efficient thermal insulation structure design, which can ensure the storage of liquid hydrogen for a long time. The liquid hydrogen vehicle gas supply system is a system installed on the vehicle to provide fuel for hydrogen fuel cells or hydrogen engines. The liquid hydrogen gas supply system is mainly composed of ultra-low temperature adiabatic vehicle liquid hydrogen cylinder, vehicle liquid hydrogen valve system, gasification booster system and frame, etc. The liquid hydrogen vehicle gas cylinder adopts a variety of patented thermal insulation technologies, which minimizes the entry of external heat into the inner tank and reduces the evaporation of liquid hydrogen, which can meet the working conditions of the vehicle.

The equipment consists of three parts: the electronic control system, the metering system and the pipeline system.
