On August 30, 2022, four units of 750 m3 LNG fuel tanks from Zhangjiagang Furui CIT Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Zhangjiagang FURUI Special Equipment Co., Ltd were officially shipped and set off for Atlantic shipyard in France. These four newly designed LNG fuel tanks will provide clean energy for the world's largest luxury cruise ship, the Royal Caribbean Ocean Utopia, will be equipped with Wärtsilä 46TS-DF dual fuel engine to effectively reduce carbon emissions by 25% while providing surging power. This is another self-transcendence after MS Europa project.
The successful delivery of 750 m3 LNG fuel tank marks the technical strength and manufacturing process of Furui CIT. Its newly designed gas supply and management unit can achieve more functions and reduce its volume. Both the system integration and pipeline complexity have reached a higher level in the same industry. This is the result of the joint efforts of the technical team and the manufacturing team!
